Please note that you will still be liable for insurance excess (see: Not Included section below). CDW does not cover damage or loss of keys, tyres, glass or undercarriage. Theft waiver (TW): Included This covers costs relating to the theft or attempted theft of the rental vehicle but does not cover the loss of personal possessions. Third party liability protection (TP): Included This covers damage sustained by another driver’s car in the event of an accident caused by you Limited MileageIncluded With this car, you can use up to 200 km per rental period. 18 to 80 Years
Customers who fall outside the age limitations will not be able to rent a car unless there is a young or senior driver fee specified in this section. Please note that, if applicable, this fee will be included in the rental price and will be payable on arrival at the rental desk in the local currency.
Travel Restrictions
Please note: Renters MUST always obtain permission from the supplier prior to cross border.
Vehicles can be driven in Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Italy, Ireland, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Monaco, Norway, Portugal, San Marino, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom and the Vatican (Area 1). Any islands are excluded from cross border travels. Travels to Norway and Sweden are only permitted between 1st May and 30th September. On request vehicles may also be driven in Croatia, Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia and Slovenia (Area 2).
Standard, Fullsize, Premium and Luxury vehicles as well as the brands Audi, BMW, Mercedes and Volkswagen are not permitted to go into Area 2. A surcharge of 5.00 EUR per day will apply for all cross border travels to Area 2. Prior authorization to leave the country with the vehicle is not required except when traveling to countries in Area 2. Driving the vehicle into any unauthorized country without prior authorization is a breach of contract and will require the customer to pay for all recovery expenses.
Some restrictions may apply with respect to loading the vehicle on trains, boats, ferries or similar means of transportation and taking the vehicle from the mainland onto an island. Please check with the local rental desk.
